My friends and I noticed some interesting portfolios. In some of them, 70,000 items were uploaded and reviewed in one day! How is this possible and what is going on?
Some of them have violations in the naming of their items. According to the rules of Envato, a name can have no more than 5 words.
We are waiting for several weeks to download, and at this time other authors have privileges. Despite the fact that no more than 20 FX are allowed in the queue, some authors have the ability to download tens of thousands of items per day.
This post from last week might explain what’s going on there. I think it’s unfair if they are allowed to circumvent the item naming rules, just because they have some kind of bulk upload deal with Envato. Hopefully that will be something that gets fixed soon.
Oh! It’s something crazy! Envato, I think that many authors would like to know how is it possible? Just explain to us? If I were the effects author, then my business would be killed by this!
Maybe I can also upload hundreds of music tracks without a limit?)))
Who knows, the same could happen to Music tracks by allowing Publishers or Library music houses to integrate their back catologue to the market. Bad situation for the independent SFX authors.
I was seriously considering starting to record and upload SFX again. But this has killed the market for us small contributors. I thought Envato was where indie authors could earn a buck and maybe make a living, but it seems to be a place where companies can unload their vast batches of items. We are currently at 458,500 SFX. The few items I have are drowning and being pushed further down to the bottom by these vast batch uploads from companies. Are they needed?
Yeah… Great… I remember the time people got upset when Sound Ideas came in with 20k+ SFX, but now there’s 150k (and counting) combined from these authors/libraries, so yeah gonna wait this one out. Oh they are also on elements.
Most likely, these accounts have more than one author, but rather a large company. Maybe they made a special deal with Envato?
You are envy? This is bad!
Get involved in your music business guys and do not envy others!
I would like to ask the moderators to close this topic! Because this is a negative discussion of other authors (personal attacks) and their accounts on the forum!@Enabled@unlockdesign@mgscoder
This thread will not open anymore this our(CO) decision.
Still do you thing then you can get in touch with envato author support team or market support team.
