well, that’s the only thing I can do for now. If they decide to redesign the forum, it’ll need more time for sure.
I also visit this forum less frequently than before.
I dont like new forums. using them much much less than used to. All this new look, small avatars, mixed topics and removed badges makes it so un-envato… i just dont like it anymore.
So seems like we’re all using the forums less… is this what you want Envato?
I agree, we need categories by market, this is definitely chaotic and not search-friendly at all. It’s a good concept but we really need categories as before.

All we need is a usable forum. One where we don’t have to install hacks to make it more usable.

Seems like new forum is being hard rejected 
Funny thing most negative comments come from theme authors. Well you helped an much uglier and less usable web develop with all these slow,wide screen,“responsive” designs… Why than do you want simple old forum back? Why don’t you like this forum now? It is only following design paradigm that “theme” authors helped develop last couple of years.
I like this forum…it gives you everything at fingertips,and you see all marketplaces at once. Good job Envato.
This is mostly about usability, not design or looks. And we don’t want the old forum back, we want the new forum to work like the old forum did.
I don’t understand something here… so I’ve chosen to “mute” all posts with “audio” tags, but when I go to forum home page it still shows posts with “audio” tags. This functionality seems to be broken… Envato, what you’ve created here doesn’t even work properly, we need to be able to filter what we want to see, and what we don’t want to see. I think this is reasonable.
Navigate using New & Unread tabs, that should work.
I don’t know why it doesn’t work on the homepage, that doesn’t make any sense for me at least!
I was told the same thing - to mute the unwanted tags and categories - but then when I came back with a reply that it didn’t work properly, I felt I was ignored.
Still shows audio tags when I’ve selected to mute audio. The mute option seems to be disabled / broken.
How do you see a persons total post count… or is that gone?
But the New tab only shows newly-opened tickets (in the last two days) and the Unread tab shows threads you’ve already interacted with. The Latest tab is the one we need, but it isn’t working properly. This is so confusing…
envato get your stuff together, do something or this forum will be a graveyard sooner or later… the forum is what keeps the marketplaces alive, so better make it enjoyable.
or you could aswell be like “we don’t care about our users, this mess of a forum is the way we roll now.”
Try dismissing posts/topics, those solutions were given by @dtbaker, I didn’t test anything, I try to help.
You need to go to that person’s profile the counter is on the left under his joined date.
The easiest way to open a person’s profile is middle (wheel) clicking on his username.
I meant all time posts, seems like the stats are just since the new forum… ah well.
Hey @onioneye, just got off a chat with Discourse where I raised a feature request for a “Latest” view that takes preferences into account. Not sure if it’s doable just yet but it’s with them for consideration.
Hey @digitalscience, agree that it’s reasonable and while it’s not off the table, we’ve decided to focus on improving other aspects of the UI first.

I agree the categories are not right, as a Themeforest author/user i really don’t want to read threads from Codecanyon, Graphicriver…etc
Hi guys, was not active on the forum for some time - a month or more - here is the reason why and as we spoke outside AJ with some authors we share the same feelings … 
As JB mentioned in this thread - the magic is lost … thats one of the reasons the activity on forums was on the very edge of ignoring it - and the new design was the last nail to the coffin
What magic and what is lost and why?
I joined years ago and the forum was one of the main reasons i did not gave up after few slow months - AJ was more than a source of some pocket money (my main income now) - it was a community of authors helping and supporting each other! It still is but the threads keeping us active are now replaced by tons of threads like - “Rejected?Why?”, “Got 10 sales! Adore me!”, “Got 20 sales and a new paw! I need your CG replies!” etc. … too many new authors means that many of them wants to get some attention - thats why this threads all the time again, again, again …
Important threads like AJ book of tips, Freebies, the funny threads just get replaced by some “Forum selfies”
I was always the nice guy, never complain (much) abut anything althoug it was sometimes hard to keep my mouth shut - just like many other guys here … so instead of starting tons of new threads about how the forum is chaotic and messed up for us the old guys … we just ignore it and taking the discussions outside AJ!
