I use N-monitors. This is a small Russian company which produces hand-made studio monitors in a very low-volume way. That’s why their quality is extremely high. They sound better, than everything in <2000$ segment. Yeap, they sound better, than Adam. Much better.
This is the model N-200P, 8-inch.
The amplifier is Audio Force MA-200. Chinese, still very decent. Moreover, it was tweaked: all the capacitors were enhanced, the transistors were resoldered to Toshiba, the fan was changed to a silent “Noctua”.
P.S. sorry, I gonna sleep now, if any questions - dont hesitate to ask pls)
Hey, the same one, but SM-6P :)
Worked with N-200P and N-300P - they sound astounding for the price of them.
By the way, what model of the Noctua you have been used?
APS Aeon. Very accurate and honest. Unfortunately in my current room i have no acoustic treatment and I use also a headphones - AKG K 612 Pro. Very good piece of gear.
Guys, I assume that all of this models are expansive, but could you recommend me some monitors something like for about 250e?
Consider M-Audio BX 5 D2. Here is review from Sound On Sound:
A friend has a pair: low is absent, low mids muddy, high mids aggressive and highs shrill … Every time he listens to his track in my studio, he cries… (I have an excellent PMC system and a big sub Dynaudio). So I don’t recommend them.
Look at KRK, cheaper models are correct. and most important, try before you buy!

In my opinion nothing beats the current Yamaha HS line in that price range. If you don’t have a sub try to get the 7" or 8" versions. The JBL SLR is a very good option as well.
Here’s a good comparison, nothing scientific, but a good way to compare the sound of each brand.
