Envato Elements: Worth for VH Authors?

Hello everyone, I left Elements in September 2019, then I still decided to return and was very happy when I was taken back in March 2020. However, now watching the sales statistics for March, I am very disillusioned.

If until September the average download of one footage video brought me 50 cents, now in March it brings me 14 cents.
Sales on VH have practically stopped since I was accepted at Elements again.
Given such dynamics, shooting urban time lapse footage is not just not profitable, it will not even pay for itself.

How have you changed the sales of video footages from Elements from September 2019 to March 2020?

The more items on Elements, the less they are worth. It’s simple logic and was very much foreseeable. Soon those 14 cents will seem huge compared to the fraction of cents a download item will be worth soon.

Feel free to destroy your own worth.

True, but the more items on market, the less sales they will have as well.

If they attract more buyers, which they seems to do a lot from other envato markets, things will work for some time.
