I can prove you your theory is wrong. well leaving me aside some of authors are uploading projects on regular basis on last year are also having low sales. I think it might be cause of search engine algorithm that causing this

I think that the worst part is that we are separated in first and second category authorsā¦ i am one of those that i am not chosen to be on elements (even if i become an elite author ā¦twiceā¦ )
This way i have ALL the damage and not even the chance or the choice to try also my luck with elements.
Personally i have about 80% of drop since elements opensā¦thanks god that i start to work also with other marketplaces because if i wasnt i will be out of business this momentā¦

People on Facebook are selling their elite accounts.
Why does the elite writer sell his accounts?
Why do people sell their big accounts?
I tell you, if you make a lot of revenue, no one sells the account.

Iāve described this in another topic. And yes, I believe, itās all about searching algorithms.
Just because your sales are good doesnāt mean youāre in the same position with everyone.
Elite Author is not equal to the Author who has trending and demanding portfolio in current situation.
Thatās obvious and still so what?
Do you know how many Authors have added new items during last year? And how many of those Authors are new ones?
And do you know how many of them complain here? And how many are doing well and donāt say a word?
Even 400-500 Authors who complains about bad sales on forums is just a small bit of overall number of Active Authors.
Did you mean to say āper yearā? Youāve only uploaded 4 files this yearā¦ unless youāve got another account or something.

Envato did something and turned into a company-oriented structure!

I wrote this lots of times, but:
My items both on VH and Elements and they perform well in both platforms. Why didnāt they fall on VH?
And btw, Elements for VH items works from July-August 2018. But Sales drops happened few month ago and quite suddenly. Donāt you think there are some other reasons?

A market with thousands of authors. May be you are one of 15to 20 authors selling good it does not matter. And not to be taken into account.
Thatās sucks 100%.
But, my point is: Instead of searching who is guilty, try to analyze current market situation and get solution for it.
