Hi, I received some emails from customers that can´t listen and/or download preview files in some tracks from my portfolio. This include all my best sellers tracks. ¿Someone with the same problem? Chrome user here… it seems that you get a alternative audioplayer with these songs without the option to download a preview.
This made me have a look at my own portfolio, and whilst i dont have time to browse through my 190 files right now, i did spot that my bestseller has the exact same problem!
I have seen this before but most of the time it’s sorted within a few hours or so… hopefully someone from Envato can chime in!
Yes, That’s the exact same player i get on chrome as well.
Not being able to download the preview, and not being able to listen to the preview… sorry to see that you have some many files with this probem, this is costing you sales.
Same here, sadly I cannot change my icon instantly and it needs review first. Browse the popular tracks of the weeks and found many items couldn’t work on their single page. Hope they will fix it soon
However, the problem should still be looked i think… updating the pic is a bit of a workaround if you have 40 files to correct, and who is to say the problem will not come back?

Anyway it has to be fixed by Envato. Probably thousands of items are affected by that bug. I just checked my portfolio… I don’t want to spend half day updating thumbnails
edit: actually it wasn’t that bad in my case. I had only few files to update ;).
Thanks for letting me know about this @E-soundtrax. I wouldn’t have been aware of it till later otherwise. The solution of resaving the file does seem to work, however it took several attempts on a couple of files.
argh!!! that’s so messed up, and maybe explains my big drop in sales this week – a bunch of my files, including the free file are having the same problem
thanks for the heads up! so @AmazAudio, must we replace each individual icon, or can we replace just the main one? i’m gonna try that first…
