I’ve a theme bought on themeforest that includes wpbackery page builder v. 6.4.0. As mentioned here this version has a security vulnerability. I can’t update this plugin directly but I’ve to wait for theme updates.
Latest version of the theme was released in October the 19th (4 days ago), but wpbackery remains to version 6.4.0.
Support for the theme is expired, but I think the same problem hits all buyers (this theme has more then 200k sales).
How can I ask the theme creator to provide an updated version of the plugin?
I prefer to not specify the theme name, because it’s a great theme from a great author and I don’t want to put it in a bad light.
