Wordpress Template Update - Support Forum

Hi everyone…

Just a bit of a rant…

I updated a few of my websites with the latest version of wordpress and found issues with templates that i purchased a while back. I was told that we get updates of these templates for “Life” after purchase. Support for these templates expired a while back as the templates are working.

I log the faults on the themeforest discussion section for the templates and then get directed to the authors support platform where you cannot post because my support has expired. So, I am now stuck.

Some of these templates have not been updated since January and are clearly not compatible with wordpress 4.8.1. If these bugs are found, shouldnt we be supported on this and not directed to purchase further support?

What are your thoughts on this?

If the support is expired you must renew it or solve your website problem yourself.
If you’re a developer you should not have any problem to solve the issues with your websites, otherwise you need an external help.

Hey,

You can always just update theme. The issue will get fixed most probably.
Reporting something although is different, an active license would be required yes.
