why our item has been rejected?

We’ve uploaded one of our plugins on CodeCanyon , but it has rejected , we don’t understand why , we have docs , demo , video preview and anything that a plugin needs , we will appreciate if anyone help us

Hi there

There must be number of reasons including

  1. Coding Standard as they Prefer PSR (PHP Standard Recommendations)
  2. Too many plugin on the same niche

Also if this is your first item, more likely they reject it in case of any common script. You have to be unique and too good in case to get the Envato account running as Author.

You can provide me more information ( also if its hard or soft rejection) so we together may find some solution.

Thanks for your response , it’s hard rejection , i’will email the the plugin codes for you , i will appriciate you if you provide more info about the our plugin to rewrite it and resubmit it again.

Please follow the coding standards as specified from Envato’s side

Also make sure that your product being uploaded is properly sanitized. I have been selling at envato for more than 4 years now and i still remember the first time when i uploaded my first product and it took almost 3 weeks for the reviewer to test out and make it available for the customers to purchase it

But once it got approved it was a hard work paid off :innocent: :grinning: :wink:

We still face rejections. So true.
