I recently submitted my item (WordPress plugin) to CodeCanyon marketplace and it was immediately rejected. The message I received from Envato was “…we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again”.
No explanation on the reason it was rejected!
As an experienced developer/author, I have been able to launch many items to the marketplace in different categories during the last 5 years. For my previous submission, Envato always replied with some notes on what improvements were needed. So what should I do now?
I believe our item meets Envato’s criteria and standards:
- Use our own code / assets.
- Coding standard & convention.
- Guideline included.
Really disappointed with Envato on how it treats its authors. Anyone with similar issues please give me a hint. Thank you.
For your reference, below is my item’s demo page: demo URL
And the guideline included in the item: guideline PDF
