Hey,
Did you receive any information from them or any email? How do you know you have been rejected?
So far, at least, I don’t even know if I was rejected or not, but nothing is from Envato’s side, like zero information about it.
hi well there is a good deal of things to say …
1- contrast
indeed, with som of your color combinations, u are violating the contrast basic design principle, which brings u to further additional trouble indeed … see point 2 and 3
2- readability
if yourtexts are not contrasting enough with the background for a variety of reason, including the lack of color differences between text and background, then, then they are not readable and not popping out as expected so why putting the concerned texts if they cannot be read ?
3- hierarchy
this is globally flat about if and the contrast issue does not help to make things get any better , this is the bottom line …
4- global style
indeed, there is not much graphic design into this template , u need to push the envelop to additional value and commercial potential … see point 5
5- commercial potential
well sorry to tell u things like this , but who is going to pay for something that could be redone rather easily and quickly. Why would people pay for an item if they do not really save time out of buying and why approving such an item if the commercial potential is low?
6- spacing
u have spacing issues as regard to the signature that should be put up and the top of the letter that should be pulled down a bit to increase the breathing between the top header and the main body of the letter …
7- conventions
in a lot of countries, the signature would not be on the left but on the right a bit aligned with the date and place …
8- typo
the typo part is clean but flat and the logo is using a font that is inappropriate in this context …
9- the logo should be aligned with the text under and this would give more space for the logo to “breathe” and having elements too close from margins is not a good idea , there is a feeling of “compression” resulting from it …
- In addition of what @n2n44 mentioned that font you used for logo is hilarious. That font can be successfully used for comics or kids related designs but not for a business letter.
Yup they sent me an email.
this is true to mention that i forgot to mention this LOL and that it is legitimate to point it out as this is true besides u make me think of point 9 that i also forget to deal with …
