Which Font to use for Magazine? Suggestions..

Hi creative people of Graphic River! First post here and my prayer is you all succed in everything you do!

I am working with a magazine design and wonder which are suitable fonts to use for titles on the cover page and the articles section too.

Hi Elreto

It depends on your target market and if it’s for print or web - that should help narrow down your options, although I’d lean towards a sans serif for the cover.

Some ideas : Helvetica, Myriad Pro, Futura - Like Tamixes said I’d also use Sans Serif fonts.

I’ve also been working on a magazine print design, and I went the other way using a Serif font, similar to Times New Roman with a slight twist, and I think it looks great. I think it really can go either way, and really depends on the feel of the design.
