Hey guys,
can anybody tell me what’s wrong with this flyer template ?
The message from the reviewer is:
“Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Party Flyer” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.”
I specify the Tequila bottle is made by me and is not a copy of the original tequila bottles made by commons manufacurers of this drink, like I saw in many other flyers.
The elements included in this flyer are representative for mexican culture and tradition, in my opinion. I will complain about decision of the reviewer but first I ask for your opinion, especialy opinon of mexican designers or mexican customers.
Thank you!
Why do you think that the bottle is the reason of reject?
As a rule, reason of 95% rejection is low design quality.
BTW your link does not work
I’m sure is not about the low design quality.

I see you are not a newbie, and have a professional portfolio. So I do not think that you have done a technical mistake.
In my opinion it’s too hard to see some main composition form. I see mash-up. Too many details, and they all form a ripple. Try to select the main form. Separate objects from the background. Make the composition more laconic
Thank you, roman. Of course there are a lot of details, it is a latino flyer, not a slavic one. And this is a reason for hard rejection as long I can modify the flyer in several minutes? I think a soft rejection was more appropriate for this flyer.
Hi,
From what i noticed submiting my own items, every time when i put to much info/images in an item it’s get rejected.I do feel that your design is to crowded. As as viewes you design, altrought is beautiful my eyes tried to focus on a single thing but without success.I think your design is to crowdy and this may be a reason for rejection.Hope this helps.
Maybe the design is a little crowdy but is this a reason for hard rejection as long as customers can disable any elements they need to make it more clean? Hard rejections means that I can not be able to re-submit this item again. I think a soft rejection was more appropriate for this flyer.
“my eyes tired to focus on a single thing but without success. I think your design is to crowded”
User SilentGraphics write the same things
“latino flyer, not a slavic”
It’s no matter, is it latino flyer or a slavic. The basic rules of design are the same for the all world
“customers can disable any elements they need to make it more clean”
It’s always better when your item is maximum ready to use. Without turning off or turning on of some details. Not all customers want to make a complicated modification. They like to use ready products
“Hard rejections means that I can not be able to re-submit this item again”
That’s means you can not reupload the same product or the same product without the global changes. Just make significant changes and upload it again
Thank you, romlam
I made some modifications and I reupload the flyer. I hope will be ok now.
However, I like to offer my clients the opportunity to change the design as they wish. Maybe I should have put in the preview a cleaner version of the template, without so many elements, as I did in others of my previews.
PS Your portfolio is professional too. Good luck with sales and thank you again.
Yeah! I think it’s a good idea to put in the preview a cleaner version of the template, without so many elements.
Wish us all the best
I am back because I want to show you how a designer can modify this flyer template as it want it in less then 5 minutes. All the elements are included in the rejected version.
I was out today because of the birthday of one of my friends but now I have to show this version of the template modified by me in less then 5 mintes (and after of couples of beers, of course )
Anyway I deleted the upload of a new version of this template.
Thank you!
