Thanks!

Cheers

Yeah that Mutations stuff is nice. Some nice skippy beats and cool little arpeggiated synth stuff for tonal type things. Worth having.

Wish I had the money for Aeon but currently on an economy drive lol

I have EM 2 and I think it’s pretty awesome, very inspiring. This was the first thing I created with just that lib (NOT SELF PROMOTION!): http://audiojungle.net/item/mechanical-dream/3469026

I don’t know many Kontakt libs under $140, I tend not to look since I’m always skint. Actually, WavesFactory have loads of stuff for very cheap that work with Kontakt, mainly Ukuleles, guitars I believe…

Good luck

I menat like any library that works with Kontakt…the Evolve mutations libraries are only 99 dollars…should i buy number or two? what do you reccomend?

Sonokinetic has great libraries. From roughly $50 and upwards. Everything from ethnic to orchestral. The most expensive are out of your range though. But they do have some really great libraries. http://www.sonokinetic.net/

Yeah that’s what I meant too  I just don’t look around really, no funds. I can’t remember why but I bought 2 instead of 1 for a reason. That’s not too helpful. I’d say just check out all the demos, reviews etc. then decide

Also, I recommend watching walk through videos on YouTube to get a feel for what the libraries contain. Often it’s hard to judge the libraries solely on the sound demos.

I have both Evolve Mutations 1 & 2. They’re very similar regards to content. Rhythmic and melodic loops mainly on the edgier side of things. Distorted, dirty and so on. Percussive kits, playable sounds and textures and hits/stingers. Torley has a walkthrough of EM 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EV7XnhghsAI

If you can stretch yourself a bit more with the money, you can always get the bundle;

http://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/orchestral-cinematic/evolve-mutations-bundle/

Just about everything by Sonic Couture, but in particular:

Geosonics, Array Mbira, Xtended Piano, Konkrete 3

http://www.soniccouture.com/en/products/

.

Nine Volt Audio are having a closing down sale, they have some fantastic Kontakt libraries, a couple of which are essential. Scroll down to the bottom to find the Kontakt instruments.

I recommend Taiko 2, and Sync’d Cymbals.

.
You can get some super cheap libraries from Spitfire Audio, by going to their Spitfire Labs webpage.

Essentials are Soft Vibes, Charango, and the amazing Felt Piano.

.

Impact Soundworks are another niche favourite of mine, they produce very high quality libraries.

I recommend Resonance, Highland Harps, and Juggernaut.

http://impactsoundworks.com/products/

.

Strezov Sampling has a fantastic tom library called Thunder.

.

There are a lot more libraries under $140 - but these are ones I use regularly so I thought I’d recommend them. The libraries recommended here already are also excellent.

Thank You gareth. I think for now i am going to go with Ukulele strum from wavesfactory and evolve mutations.

Yes I got Mutations 2 recently & was lucky enough to get Evolve too for a great price on kvr audio marketplace. Really great libraries/sounds, haven’t had a chance to go through them all yet but I think I will tomorrow for a wee bit of inspiration.

I don’t think I saw this company mentioned and I like their libraries for more earthy, folkish stuff. Check them out. The banjo, mandolin, handbells and crystal glasses libraries are some of my favorites. They also have some good free libraries.

Hope this helps!

I don’t have any kontakt libraries ( I really need to get more sounds too! lol) but just wanted to say your new logo and profile page is really awesome Kabbalistic!
