HI well, that’s exactly what i mentioned, there are some buyers with some specific needs and which some purposely for something , but apart from this, there seems to be not so may guys , who like u , come and discuss something, besides, what i find really interesting , unless they come, just like it happened once, to disparage all the flyer category and pro diving a negative speech about all authors and products when the initial message from the guy was quite incoherent all the way, what i did not fail to underline by the way … Apart form that, i think that we all gain to to know each other, authors with authors , authors with buyers … .
for the request category, sort to say just that indeed, there used to be , it was called a different way beforehand, but that was already something that buyers could enjoy and actually it turned to be really way more accessible again than it is today as all guys could find more easily the category that they were looking for …
sorry also to tell you just that, but, even if i understand what u are trying to explain, help center / after sale or whatever is officially envato staff and forums are not the same , that’s right u can find some answers in the forums and sometimes quicker but that’s a different thing anyway … . Let’ me give u an example to illustrate just that, let’s face it many guys have to come here to get to know why they got rejected but the concerned guys will end up having as many opinions and “diagnostics” as there are people answering and without being sure that it has anything to do with the real reason for a rejection indeed and that’s precisely how it will never be the same as having an individualized reply from someone who belongs to envato. This maybe quicker but sometimes that’s not as efficient, depending on what u are considering.
What i also think that most of buyers fail to identify is that getting to come to the forums to have assistance is not a good choice indeed, if they ever turn out to have a problem with an item, then they should contact the author in the first place, that’s the first thing to do before considering anything else and it avoids to have some guys doing some crazy things like badly rating someone with no real reason for that, without even checking what is the attitude of the seller to his buyer and his will or nt to help (but let’s face it i guess you won’t find anyone not wiling to help if the request is legitimate , that’s risky for any author anyway).
no , u are not exactly right, sometimes what u said is true, however, sometimes some specific knowledge of an environment is making you lack some essential date as to know why something is done this way and what may look as maybe be a problem for amateurs is sometimes not so much and vice versa, even if u are also right in many cases in what u said, it just depends, on what we are talking about and so on but professional expertise matters much and i personally regret that sometimes buyers are forgetting about just that, unfortunately
but in the end u are right that’s a matter of good intelligence anyway in both sides to get to know who are the limitations of all people and they expertise, needs and so on and having a different look something might be helpful tool, besides, that’s why i allow myself to answer to AJ threads despite lacking expertise, however, i also never fault to mention that i don’t have the professional knowledge so that anything i say has to be taken for granted … that’s just a point of view expressed and people do what they want out of it , nothing else
