"these items are too similar to your original"

Hello, everybody.
i’m pretty new to videohive.
My plan was to start directly with 3 related templates.

Just now two of the three projects were rejected with the reason: “these items are too similar to your original shirt mockup item”

i am just really speechless, i have invested so unbelievably much work in this triology. And now Im not allowed sell it.

I would like to hear your opinion and experience.

Template01: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFmpWLXSiu4
Template02: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96CmDyVGPTs
Template03: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubqfxeWMDm8

All templates have about the same look but this is above all a marketing and recognition decision.

All 3 Items have different Features, Artwork on Front and Back, the Movment of the cloth.
And come on, template 03 is really different than 01 and 02.

As I understood the emails from the reviewer, there is no need for these templates and I should not try again.

what would you do now?
go to another marketplace and upload the things envato doesn’t want?

I don’t know, I’m really disappointed and I don’t know what to do.
do you have similar experiences?

one out of these 3 project is accepted right?

Add unapproved projects as an update to the accepted project

yes, Template01 is accepted.

yes I was going to suggest the same thing.

I concur

Thanks for your answers!
You mean the option under Item / Update Item & Tags (requires review)?

that would mean that I merge all 3 projects and make them available in a single zip file, right? or can the projects be seperated?

merge all 3 project in single zip file.

Hey there,

Be sure to carefully read the rejection message, which stated how you should handle the rejected files by bundling them with the original:

Unfortunately, these items are too similar to your original shirt mockup item, and instead of being sold as a separate item, they should be bundled with the original.

Hey, you’re absolutely right. I completely missed that part. Thanks!
