I purchased a theme from Theme forest a week back later finding out that the theme was last updated in 2018 and is based on Wordpress version 4.4.1. So for obvious reasons, the theme has some bugs. How can I initiate a refund because 4.4.1 and 5.5 version has a long gap and as per the latest reviews, the update is not expected soon enough. So the theme does not work as expected.
I am ready to choose other theme in replacement.
Its a beautiful theme. Wish they updated it regularly.

@LSVRthemes this is not a fair answer at all! Themeforest should be working to remove all themes that are not compatible with the current version of 5.5 otherwise whats the point in buying a theme if it doesn’t work. If common sense does not prevail, this website will become void and google will see an increase in the search term “alternative to themeforest”. nobody wants this so someone in authority needs to shake a leg and get busy ensuring this happens. 
You can check in the right panel on item description page if the theme supports latest WP version. But I agree that it doesn’t make any sense to sell outdated themes and as far as I know, Envato is working on cleaning the marketplace from outdated WP themes, but it will take some time.
I have Medical Plus theme. After latest Wordpress update my theme is no longer working correctly. Drop down menus don’t work. I can’t find any info regarding updates for Medical Plus. So, will there be an update for this theme?
Are you using the latest copy of the theme?
@GoodLayers are one of the most reputable and respected authors on envato and the file supports WP5.5. so am sure it will be fine
FYI you have no buyer badge so you will need to be logged in using the purchasing account
if you are asking me, that is what I am trying to find out if there are any updates. I bought this theme several years ago.
