Agree with you @frozenjazz maybe with a lower arpeggio could improve the final mix… 
He cannot resubmit the track but can do something similar with a different harmonic progression, and this time taking attention to this topic as you said before… it could be a nice training … Here is plenty of similar tracks with different versions and sounds,
