You don’t get it, do you?
First, he is a coder, he is not a musician and an AJ author.
But he is coming to AJ forum to spread negativity for months or maybe years.
So tell me now. What does he contribute to musicians? Except for saying "you are doomed. Your platform will be closed soon.I am always right, you will be discarded etc. "
So what’s the point? Do you think he brings something useful or positive to the table?
I don’t care about his sales. I just think that we don’t need this kind of attitude.
He can do whatever he wants to in Code Canyon forums. That’s not my business.
But for music, i don’t think he has something to say.

I am talking about the entire Envato marketplace, AJ and the stock footage marketplace is dead thanks to Elements, and I am convinced that CC and TF is next, I think I know how things works here better than you do…
Again I am allowed to tell my thoughts and I will do so for as long as I am able no matter what you think!
You are dead wrong.
Cause most months i make more money on AJ compared to times when Elements haven’t been introduced. the marketplace is not dead.
Yes you are allowed to tell your thoughts but all you do is spreading false information. Like : The marketplace is dead, It will be closed by shutterstock.
And i don’t think you know how things works here better than I do.
And yes you are free to speak. Tell us more. Like, how we are doomed. How things will go worse everyday. Cause that’s all you say.
How was it on AJ before Elements?
The management is absolutely silent to any of the issues raised here on the forum, of course, things will go wrong if they don’t communicate with their workforce man…, look what happened so far, Envato was nr. one it ended up sold to the competition and all of this is thanks to Elements and bad management, do you think this is a good thing?
Do you know how many clients that are buying Elements even now think that they will have access to the entire marketplace, in the beginning was even worse because the way Elements is marketed confuses clients, and this ended up in countless refunds and angry clients that in the end does not want to have anything to do with Envato even though most authors here are professionals and passionate about their work?
Before ELements authors on AJ were able to make a decent living now, nobody wants to pay 30$ for a song if they can get one million for 16$… and even though this is a good thing for the client in the long run is not because most serious authors can’t make a living from their work and stop uploading stuff…
I am not sure what your income is now but before Elements elite authors made 3+k per month and their work was appreciated, they formed bonds with their clients that came back for more now there is just the mess Elemets dose that has no soul identity just numbers,.
In my case with code, I used ot make 6-10k per month, but now I can barely make 2-3k, do you think this is good?
Open your eyes my friend, or maybe you are happy making 500$ per month then the new Envato is perfect for you!
Is there still hope yes for the code marketplace for the stock footage no, ecept if you want to make a few bucks per month…more as a hobby than an actual “job”

What do you suggest? Let’s rise up and force Envato to shut down Elements?
How do you plan to do that?
AJ is not my best income source. I make money from many other libraries, even from streaming platforms, and make more money than you mentioned for Elite authors which is 3+K. Yes, in 2024. And i am planning to make more money for the years ahead
Some months it passes 500 dollars on AJ. I won’t say no to that amount. No one would.
So why focus on negativity when you can improve?
Maybe now you can see that this is more than a hobby for me.
It comes down to that old reality. Adapt or die.

Allk I am saying that things are not going in the right direction, I don’t understand why do you defend Elements, it makes no sense to me!
It is not about negativity is about reality!
This is all I have to say, if you are happy making 1000$ per month working like a slave to sell your work for 0.001 cents than be my guest if Evanto forces subscription model for code I am out of here and all good authors will live, not codder in the right mind will sell a plugin that takes years to code and maintain for a few cents it just dose not work…

That’s why i say you are on the wrong forum. We don’t speak the same language. Maybe you should complain on CC forums.
You don’t have to die, agree adapt but this dose not mean that I have to be a lave for Envato, there are other ways, create m own store, sale on other marketplace and I am absolutely convinced other marketplaces with the TT and CC mode will appear if Envato chooses to force subscription model
It will be hard in the beginning but at some point, things will get better.
@ihsandincer You talk a lot but you sell your music for $5, it’s people like you who are killing the market.
And in the end i make 4 figures a month.
What does that say to you?
If that is all the consideration you have for your talent, I will give you.
At $5 you earn 0.45c or it takes 2222 sales to make $1000 per month.

That’s called supply and demand.
I’d rather to make a living with my music than complaining.
I promised myself to make a living with music and nothing else.
And now i have a happy life.
I told you. AJ is not the only income source.
And 1000 Dollars a month is not enough for my montly living cost.
And if it comes down to numbers.
How much money did you make with 76 sales in 4 years?
You are not a member of a copyright society and your music is not even protected by content ID, you must be losing a lot of money.
I have hundreds of tracks outside AJ, which is protected by Content ID. And i planning to do the same for here.
And i am ok with the money that i earn on AJ.
The point is, negativity takes you nowhere.
I am a recognized professional live musician who provides me with part of my income and I sell music directly to audiovisual production companies, hence the importance of copyright. In addition, I sell licenses on exclusive platforms dedicated to the placement of music for TV or cinema.
Oh, so you calculate my earnings and and judge my musical talent and business depending on AJ
But when it comes to you. You are better than that.
Kudos!
