July is not getting better…
even as a featured author… ? didn’t help at all?
nothing at all, my earning has never been so low as this month (and I’m selling stuff on Envato since 8 years)
I don’t know if my price are too low or to high.
Im since 11 years… I made more sales than this when I was having 10 items in my portfolio and now I’m having 326 items and the sales are lower… not even getting an idea on what to put out here. In elements yesterday it was showing my earning as 5USD and today it shows as 0.25USD I don’t know what it is. very dissappointed, frustrated, over whelmed and utterly confused.
I feel exactly the same thing.
It looks like people don’t buy your items on Market because they are free on Elements.
Earnings are slowly inching towards nil. The promise of “increased earnings” or even sustained earnings is becoming more out of reach by the minute.
Make sure you look at the Date of the earnings posting on the Elements Dashboard. When it switched from May to June 2 days ago, the monthly total was reset. That could be the reason it went from 5USD to 0.25USD. The month changed.
I don’t know what kind of author you are, but I suggest you use the Trending chart on the Elements Dashboard to see what buyers are looking for. I personally focus on (pun intended!) those photos people are searching for that have a LOW result. I have been doing that for several months and earnings are increasing. Hope that helps!
Thank you. I was talking about the decreased sales in the marketplace not in elements
I see. You mentioned your Elements earnings so I thought that was what you were referring to. Yes, I have a feeling the shift from Marketplace to Elements is like when music and movies went from discs to streaming. I hope you can start making up income on Elements as Marketplace wanes. Best of luck!
From a customer perspective, I can tell you why I didn’t buy The Grid from Theme-One. They state that they don’t support it! Why would I spend $50 on something that may or may not work after reading that lots of others are having problems after they went to a token-based model. No questions about why they went to tokens, but it’s either hopelessly complicated or just plain broken - and dependent on them to keep a token server running for their plugin to continue to function.
Their plugin was great when bundled with Themeco’s Pro and X themes, but that relationship dissolved, as did part of my menuing functionality. I went looking for a place to ask if the licensed version would resurrect my old skin implementation and found there’s no support. No sale. I’m off to find a different solution NOT from Theme-One.
So, authors - not sure if any others have discontinued support like Theme-One has, but that sends “Don’t Do This” messages to all but the most naïve prospects.
I’m a Codecanyon author (Javascript & HTML5). Do I have the opportunity to place something on Elements?
You have to submit an application to sell on Elements.
You can find more information about applying and selling on Elements here:
Hope that helps!
same here
if sales were “down” in June , what about for July, then … LOL
Still low sales on Market, about 40% drop now
How are sales to the US in your accounts?
Most sales in previous years to the US:
And now even one sale in August?
In the last 3 years, sales from the USA, India and Indonesia have been completely lost.
The market is changing now everybody is going crazy for AI stuff…
