What happened with the Envato reviewer team? I feel they need longer time than before
Not many reviewers at the Envato now for code ( I believe two or three now ) and everyone else is focusing on Elements.
You’re probably gonna get the rejection anyway - somehow if you get the item approved, it’s not gonna make any sale to cover the expenses and the time you invested…
Hey @ki-themes May I clarify? So, Envato hardly rejected my submission without giving feedback and emailing it like the common one?
I asked my friend, and he said uploaded the kit on Sunday and got approved on Monday, only 2 days. Why does Envato treat the authors differently? Can you help me to understand this
Just for sharing, I didn’t break any rules. I followed all Envato rules. But if Envato finds any wrong, I think it will be better if they talk it to me as my corrections so I can improve my item, am I right?
Thanks for you reply
As per the policy/terms, they are not entitled to provide details for hard-rejected projects.
They may be on vacation or busy, or the reviewer may need a second opinion from the team that’s taking longer.
Yes, I got hard rejected many times and I didn’t get any feedback but I still get email notifications. But the current problem I faced is, that my item is still on the reviewing process status as you can see here Pasteboard - Uploaded Image
Its my first time I’m waiting for the notification until 9 days, while my friend got approved only in two days
It’s simply I hope, if the item will be rejected again, I need the news like the common: envato sending me email telling the hard or soft rejection
As you can see from the details, it will take longer:
Held items: This means that an item may need to be reviewed by another member of staff, requires further information or a bug needs to be resolved.
