Hi there Envato Pros. I did a few logos and they all got rejected due to not being “the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again”. Please can you help me with some feedback. It would be much appreciated. Thanks!
pls next time post things on by one, this is easier to have a more complete “review” of your rejected items indeed. What i want to start with is that u have something definitely tasteful and well presented and this is a good point to say the least … now the fact of the matter is that there are things that could also really be improved or things to fix in my view …

well this logo is basically too simple, , this is harmonious and tastefully executed but there is not real concept behind and let’s face it , the logo really has a very low potential commercially speaking as i do not know many people would buy a logo something like 30+ bucks when they could redo it easily and quickly … it would not take major skills to people to redo the work as the style is too minimalistic , not bringing any effect to the table and is clean but flat all the way , in particular when it comes to typo. But the problem is the following, here , typo is probably the main issue no matter where u post and u are expected to bring a real work to the table. At this stage what u have is clean but flat, there are not enough variations, font combinations or touches of originality in the end … i am not sure that this is just a matter of preview but a horizontal version is demanded and u do not have one as for i could see … and this is making me feel worried for u with such an item as , to be honest i really doubt that the logo would look as ok as of now if u bing one to the table …

this is my favorite of these three … there is much harmony in the disposition, colors and everything and there is a bit originality ,too , all this is positive but the typo partis really flat and lacking relief , there is too little variations , no font combination and introducing some creativity typo wise would be welcome. The disposition is not completely the right one make sure that the block of three lines is aligned vertically with the illustration part … more troublesome, the yellow color is not readable not contrasting and let me remind u off the fact that contrast is a basic design principle and that violating it is not a good idea LOL. there is also no vertical version and i am not sure that this version will be easy to handle so that this looks good the same way …

well to be honest this one is the one i like the less … for me this one is emphasizing all the problems that i have evoked for the other one but is definitely less creative and flatter again than the other ones … the execution time must be of about not over 5 minutes for someone who can manipulate illustrator , so the bottom line is that the logo has no commercial potential at all and why would a reviewer accept an item that has no potential at all ? u have a big issue of contrast with some of the previews, the logo or texts are almost invisible and this is not valuing your work to say the least in the first place, but in addition, this leads u to violate basic rules of the industry , which is never a good idea …

Thank you SO much for your comments, I really appreciate you getting back to me and taking the time to review. I understand what you are saying and it makes a lot of sense - I thought that the type was perhaps one of the main issues (ie. that it is too simple). I didn’t necessarily think the simple icons were a problem, but I understand what you mean by they might not have commercial value. Thanks again. I will keep your comments in mind for my next submissions!

hi indeed, i did not actually mean this exactly , let’s say that this is limited indeed and and that this is a big deal as this is a portentially good reason for reviewers not to feel like accepting the item …
