Literally just started, you can work out anywhere, no need for going to the gym etc and they’ve got a great iPhone app…
Lets all sign up and challenge each other - it comes with leaderboards etc which could make this really competitive
You can find me on there as Matt Stuttard Parker
I don’t want to destroy anyones buzz, but, I’ve been working out for almost a year now, ( plus a couple of years in the past but took time off ) UFC / Kickboxing / Running 6/10 kilometeres, and going to the gym as well, if you’re a natural mesomorph, your body will respond to training instantly, and you’ll lose fat pretty easily, on the other hand, if your body fat percentage is over 28% / 30% you can do all the Crossfit / P90X / Running and what not combined and you still won’t get ripped / shredded or whatever you wanna call it!
Diet, diet, diet, diet and again, diet! A great shaped body is, in my humble opinion, 50% diet, 25% gym and 25% sleep!
But you don’t have to take my word on it, I just bench press 160kg / 350pounds for 10 reps!
Yes this is similar to Crossfit/P960X/Insanity just appears to have a cool social element
@enabled - I’m not doing this too lose weight, I have trouble keeping weight on! That said the last time I did a high intensity program like this I actually noticed a whole stone of muscle gain which shows it does work, eating healthy of course is something you should do regardless

Same, don’t want to lose weight, I want to put on muscle and just running does not cut it. I have been training solo, got a weight bench and other workout equipment but the only thing I’ve been able to do consistently for years* is running lol.
Hopefully with the social element things will change and I’ll have better luck when there’s group involvement
@wickedpixel, hurt a leg too and I should be resting but I’m going to start with exercises that don’t involve too much leg work for the next 2 - 3 days atleast
Finished my first workout today, APHRODITE. 58minutes in all. Have to do this all week, everyday apparently.
I like how the exercises are provided through the app. Finish one and you hit, next next till finish. Love the count down as well. It was hard though, especially the situps, but I think in time I’ll get used to it. BURPEES were also quite annoying, have to get used to them! I’m pretty sure my body will be sore for the next 2 - 3 days so I will wait for my body to recover before moving on

Mate, I’m 184 cm (6 foot) tall and weigh 85 kg ( 187 pounds ) and I’m at 10 - 12% bodyfat! Thanks, but I’m shredded as is and happy with what I’ve achieved Diet + Weights + Protein Shakes = Muscle on, fat off!
Train well, eat well ( Enabled is right, abs are made in the kitchen ), focus well, don’t overtrain. Your muscles will grow during rest. Don’t forget warming up. If you don’t give you will be happy. I would join you but I have my own plan. Good luck guys

Yup, did the whole 5 sets, a total of 150 reps each of BURPEES, SQUATS and SITUPS(my worst enemy now). Woke up this morning with sore shoulders and triceps, but my legs seem to have recovered. The burpees and squats cured any discomfort I felt in my leg, magic
Got protein shakes (an impulsive buy from last month), so I don’t know if I should start taking protein shakes yet. I’ll hold out a bit longer
Go for Aphrodite. The only thing I did really fast is the Squats lol, slow on everything else.

It’s simple mate! You just need two, very elementary things! A protein rich diet, and lift heavy! That’s all! Give it time and it’s gonna happen from there on! When cutting / getting shredded, keep the protein, remove the carbs, add more cardio!

yeah I’m aching from the Max situps and burpees, killed me haha
I tried freeletics for four weeks, I remember that I had to give in the first week because of the muscle fever. It is a very intense workout. Even so, I only got slightly visible results.
So, I moved to bar exercises and the results are visible from week two, especially for my ab and core.
