I do not recommend using Envato support

I purchased a plugin a month ago. I paid more than $60. The plugin does not work. The latest reviews and comments about the plugin also say that the plugin does not work and they feel cheated. I made a request for a refund. The refund has been pending for 30 days!!! 30 days I am waiting for my money. No information if and when I will get my money. I am very dissatisfied with the cooperation with Envato and their support or rather lack of support. I advise you to think a few times before you buy something on their site.

Most of the buyers do not have any “technical” requirements to be able to install the systems or debug the small issues regarding to the servers, then they start to complain about “it doesn’t work” I’m not sure if this is your case but it’s pretty common issue. If the system has a problem:

If you have requested a refund ,the author will be notified about the issue and they have 7-10 working days to respond ( reject or accept the request )
If you haven’t heard anything during the period, you can contact Envato support for the details, it may take around 7-10 days but if you’re eligible for refund ,you will be provided the information.

Actually, I’m a programmer and I spent the whole day to fix the plugin. I read documentation, forums, comments, I changed php versions of the hostig. I rolled back woocommerse versions, I modified the php code of the plugin. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the problem was much more serious than one day debugging. Then I started reading people’s opinions about this plugin and found out that the author doesn’t respond to support, and the plugin doesn’t work for others either so instead of making a ticket to support I made a return request. A month has passed and I’m still without money and information whether I will receive it.

I’m not sure what the item is but if the item marked with earliest WooCommerce compatibility version as well as WordPress, it’s understandable that it may not work with the latest version of WordPress/Woo.

I have purchased few scripts as well for my clients as well as spent some time to fix the issues instead of “contacting” the item author, which would usually take 1-2 days, fixing took couple of hours - remember that you’re purchasing an item as it is and it could cause some compatibility issues with other extensions. Just read the comments and check the reviews next time before purchasing an item and see how the author respond time .

My post is not about debugging the plugin. The post is about warning people that when they buy a broken plugin they may not get their money back. And envato support is a myth. You can’t count on any help and your tickets get stuck in some sick waiting room. I am not going to buy anything from this site anymore after the way I was treated. I think envato company is not a good business partner. Business is all about quick response, help, and partner support. I can understand a week or two, but 30 days waiting for information is too long. The author of the plugin does not refer to the return request, and they still do not see the problem. What kind of service is this. The author continues to sell damaged plugin, people (or only me) do not receive refunds. This is a pathology

Contact Envato support and report the item if it’s broken and having an issue with it. Envato will take an action and probably remove the item if it’s broken.

The item support is being provided by the author and Envato is not responsible if it takes long… I’m aware of the respond time on Envato is slow but there’s not much things you can do considering the marketplace is huge.
