I accidentally bought the same theme again.

Hi, I accidentally bought the same theme again. I sent a refund request. However, my ticket is not answered 6 days from Envato. I will get another theme when I get a refund. My client wants the right theme urgently.

if the author does not respond to the refund request within 7 days, you will be given an option to raise a dispute with Envato. This option should appear automatically as a link or button on the refund request details page after 7 days.


I talked to the author. He said that he was unable to refund only one of the themes I bought, that I had to contact envato support.

if you requested refund only for 1 item then they can approve your refund request, it will not be any problem and refund will be only for one item. but also you can fix it through Help ticket . Envato Customer support team will be happy to assist you.


The author said he could not pay. I opened the request, but Envato has not returned for 6 days. Can’t we complete this process faster?

if you requested refund only for 1 item then refund will be only for 1 item not for both, also in refund request details page both you and author can see the price which will be refunded. so you can check it is for 1 item or for both. if author not agree then you have to go with Customer Support. please wait envato customer support will reply you as quickly they can.

Seems like the author is a little confused about how the refund system works. @mgscoder is 100% correct that refunds are only for individual purchases, and if you open a refund request for the one which hasn’t been downloaded, then the author should accept it as long as it was opened in a reasonably short time.

I did not download the theme. I told the author this. However, the author asked me to meet envato. As far as I understand he only prolonging the process. I will not write a nice review about him :man_facepalming:
