I’ve noticed an issue that’s becoming more and more common on AudioJungle, and I’d like to bring it up calmly and factually.
Recently, tracks created by real composers have been rejected simply for mentioning in the description that the music is suitable for Instagram Reels. Even though there is an official category on the site with that exact title, reviewers state that such wording does not comply with Envato’s rules.
At the same time, tracks that appear to be AI-generated are being approved without issue. These often have repetitive structures, unnatural transitions, and a recognizable synthetic sound — yet they still pass the review process. This is concerning, especially since the use of AI-generated content is generally restricted or even prohibited on many similar platforms.
This creates a sense of inconsistency. Human authors who try to work honestly and use relevant, popular keywords face strict limitations, while AI-generated content that may actually violate platform rules is being accepted.
It would be helpful to clarify how the review process currently approaches these cases, and whether a more transparent and fair policy will be implemented. Many of us are doing our best to follow the rules and create high-quality music, and we’d like to feel that this is recognized and supported.
Thank you for your attention.
