[Hard Rejected] HTML Template - Seeking Advice to Improve!

My Persona - Tailwind vCard/Portfolio HTML Template, has been rejected on ThemeForest.

About the Template:

  • Framework: Tailwind
  • Core Features: html5, css3, js, tailwindcss, responsive, color swicher, fontawesome icons, google fonts, preloader, light-dark theme

Feedback:

Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “Persona - Tailwind vCard/Portfolio HTML Template” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.

Can you check my preview link and share any advice on:

  1. Design trends and improvements?

These personal resume type sites are massively over done and as such hard to get approved.

To be fair you have more uniqueness to how yours is presented, and you have made the effort to address things like portfolio and blog info which so often gets overlooked.

Nevertheless. it’s hopeful to be approved as people just do not really use this style of site anymore and there are so many out there for free/premium that it’s hard to get across to buyers why they would want to use this one.

First of all, thank you for your comment and evaluation.

Do you think it is possible to develop this project in a more comprehensive way and get it approved? For example, I could create different versions (simple, fun, brutalist, elegant, modern, etc.).

Or do you have any suggestions, should I continue with this project?

You’ve already done a good job of offering the right sections, dark/light, etc. so not sure how much more you would be able to add in this format.

It’s definitely a tough category so perhaps you can take what you have and turn it into more of bigger and traditional type website rather than a v card.

If you did this and added alternative layouts for the portfolio, landing/home page etc. add stuff like stand out case study or project pages, you could quite easily scale it into something with broader appeal.
