Hi all. I’m meeting with our Product team this morning, in order to get more information about the changes to Elements Music search & discovery. I’ll post an update (probably in Andy’s other thread) once I have more details.

@Eduard_1337 We run a campaign or promotion in March every year, generally of similar size to our Mid-Year sale. Those are smaller than Cyber Week / Black Friday, but they’re still an effective way of getting more subscribers. In this case, users in some locations will be seeing a 3-day Elements promotion.

@simonleng Could you send me a DM with some more information, and I’ll see what I can find out for you? I’ve just had a quick look at earnings details for your account. February Elements earnings are only available up to Feb 14 (there’s a lag as we need to see all licensing activity for the month, for customers starting a subscription on each revenue day) so only half the month’s earnings will be showing on your dashboard today.

Big drop in photo sales and I’m still waiting on February payment, I received an earnings statement on the 15th

I am trying to understand the way pricing is being set.
As an motion graphics designer i pay 1000EUR just for Cinema 4D software.
Then 3rd-party plugin X-particles around 300EUR each year and the list of software/plugins isn`t even full.
Why one 3rd party plugin costs more than access to 16M assets that can easily help clients to earn money?

You are offering subscription for 174EUR with a 40% discount which is 104EUR per year. I just dont get it. Why so cheap? What kind of subscribers are you looking for? Those who can earn a lot of money on 16M digital assets or those who uses them for personal use like family slideshows etc?
Then why not to create different memberships for those 2 and more groups with different pricing and limits? Clearly those subscribers who are here to earn money they can pay more!

My payment hit PayPal on the 17th.

My earns for my photography sales continue to fall. January earnings were down 50-60% from my best months last year.

Elements is the evil … remove all your work from it and the marketplaces will get back on track!

Ok,
@BenLeong could you share a light on this:

It happened a month ago. How it is possible that the total monthly earnings were lower than the last day’s earnings?

The trust I have in Elements and the obscure mechanism it uses to compute the earnings is lowering day by day.

I’m not Ben, but my numbers never update at the same time. Usually they are both updated and do agree within the hour of the first number posting.

My income crashed 40% in 2 months in stock video category .
In all search only one author is being shown ( Yuri )
Search results should be balance , not 20 items from one author in whole page

Our sales are crashing after change in search algorithm (since Dec 2023) … many authors have been ignored completely.

we have also removed all our items from Elements

If all authors do this the marketplace will come to life again, but I doubt it, there will always be those who will take advantage of the situation …
