I accidentally purchased the wrong version of a theme from the author “removed”, and did not realize it was the Prestashop version until after I had downloaded the file. I have attempted to contact the author to obtain the Wordpress version of the theme, but I never received a reply. I then requested a refund in order to purchase the correct version of that same theme, but the author has refused my refund. Now I am stuck with a theme that is not compatible with my website. What should I do?

He actually has right to reject the refund:
Why a refund may not be given
you bought an item by mistake;
But in same cases, Envato may offer some credits as the refund on your account that you could purchase another item
