Hello team Envato,
I have download around 5 Shopify theme and all theme have same error and when i upload themes on Shopify and Shopify showing this error,

zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid”

Please help and slove this problem

Hi,

The item you mentioned is not a Shopify theme, it is a HTML site template.

Also, you are trying the wrong .zip file. You should unzip the package you downloaded from ThemeForest/Elements and you will find another .zip in it, which should be called your Template-NAME.zip. You have to work with that .zip. Again please note your downloaded one is not a Shopify theme, it is a HTML template.
