i just purchased a theme for my shopify shop. but while uploading the theme it is showing me the following error. Please help.
‘zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid”’

Seems that you are uploading wrong .zip file. You should unzip package you downloaded from themeforest/elements and you will find another .zip in it, which should be called like your THEM-NAME.zip. Please try to install that .zip

Yes seems like you are using a wrong zip. But please check out again from the dashboard where you have got the files as purchased from Envato. Download the file from dashboard again and try uploading. I hope it works
