My plugin needed updated and now I have what appears to be the updated version of this plugin (version 4.4.3 - I deactivated and uninstalled, and since it is required on my theme, re-installed and activated - appears to be current.)
I’d be asking my theme author but they are “not providing support” for some reason.
When I “updated” this plugin, the backend now looks all jacked up. It is no longer drag and drop and it has all shortcode. How on earth did this happen and how do I fix it? PLEASE HELP!
Also, in Wordpress when I go to my Pages list and click “Edit with Visual Composer”, it opens the page’s front end and thinks and thinks forever… never leading to be able to edit.
please check your theme compatibility with the WPBakery Visual Builder. May be your updated version not supported by your theme. you have to use the version your theme compatible with. please try if you have still problem with the theme then The best way to get the support is Contact your purchased Theme Author. If your support expired then you have to hire a freelancer or extend support.

The theme is “up to date” as well. When I go to theme support in Themeforest, it states they are not supporting the item.
then you have to hire a freelancer. I would like to recommend one of the WordPress experts at Envato Studio for doing this new theme setup into your existing site . They’re really good and surprisingly affordable.
