Has anybody updated to the latest version of Visual Composer (12/10/2017) on Wordpress? Having recently updated I have lost the ability to edit in the back or front end being unable to add any elements. Any page that has used visual composer in the past now has broken elements. Running the latest version of wordpress.

Welcome to the forums! As far as I remember there were some kind of problems after certain Visual Composer update, similar to what you are experiencing. It would be best to contact plugin author and report the issue, please go to purchased plugin page and use either “Support” or “Comments” section:
