Why doesn't Codecanyon give the reason for rejection?

The software I uploaded to Codecanyon is being rejected, but no reason is written and I cannot view the software I uploaded in any menu. Is this normal? Wouldn’t it be better if they wrote the reason for the rejection and we could make our updates accordingly?

When you’re not there to get the approval, review team doesn’t provide details.
If you share the demo link, we ( some of the author here ) could provide some information.

Demo: Custom Data Table
thanks

That script doesn’t bring anything new to the marketplace as there are better scripts at the marketplace with more feature and clean design - I could achieve this with free services from Google, no need to purchase and deal with the coding.

You’re probably new at coding, I don’t think anytime soon you’d be getting any approval as the standards at CC is pretty high now.

then show me another data table that can fix horizontal scrolling. or show me a data table that you can move horizontally without using scrolling. or publish this feature to me in a few hours.

also if it is not accepted because there are already other scripts, sell only one best software from each category in the market. remove the others from publication.

My software is different from other data tables, but the brain that will see this difference is not in the Envato market.

There are several reasons why your submission might have been hard rejected:

  1. There are already free and feature-rich JavaScript table libraries, such as DataTables, readily available online.
  2. Many links in your code appear to lead to 404 errors, which affects usability and credibility.
  3. The sales potential is unclear—why would someone choose to purchase this over free alternatives?

in fact, 404 pages are just random links defined to sample usage scenarios that are not included in the software.

as I said, it is quite different from the free ones. there is no sticky scroll feature anywhere. there is no column expansion/collapse feature anywhere else.

The problem is that there are free samples on the market. There are currently data tables for sale. Why were they accepted?

These items were approved a long time ago, some as far back as 10 years. Also, some of them are addons for other popular scripts available on CodeCanyon.

The free data table you showed as an example is very simple. It requires a second scroll vertically. The data table I wrote has a stunt scroll. In the data table you showed, you need to adjust the data table height to easily access scrolling. Otherwise, in the table where I want to list 500 rows, you need to go down 500 rows to access scrolling. There is no dragging feature on PCs either. There is no column expansion/collapse feature.

In short, although it has its own features in terms of ease of use and logic, no one notices it.

For these features, you have to create a table without using an html “table” and this is not an easy task. free data tables use an html “table”.

You should make a better demo with AJAX filter/search.

Some buttons don’t work, they go to 404 page.

On CodeCanyon, you need to make everything work as a real website, real feature.

As I see, your table isn’t better than DataTables examples - Examples index

It even doesn’t have sort/search/pagination using Ajax.

Hello you,

To be honest, there are many much more polished products that still get hard rejected. Like many other authors, I’ve been trying to figure out where the issues lie.

However, that’s the story with products that, in my opinion, could still be usable! Regarding your product, based on the demo, I don’t think it’s marketable. From what I’ve seen, there are already far better solutions available, and much of your core functionality relies on DataTables, which is free. It will be very challenging for anyone to consider purchasing your script, even if you perfect everything on the front end as much as possible.

You should explore other ideas! Good luck!

You’re right. It’s hard to find a developer smart enough to tell the difference.

404 pages are too simple to be considered a problem. The real problem is that Envato managers and others make decisions without examining the software enough to understand the difference. A data table created for those who want the best, not the free version.

If I give them 1 week to code different parts of the software, they can’t write it; but they claim it’s the same as the free version.

Exactly. We are all telling you the same thing, you’re still ignoring it and you still think the project is good enough ( not ). If it was good enough, you’d get the approval from the beginning or at least a proper message why it’s not accepted.

You should do whatever you want, while not taking the suggestions here seriously and being offensive.

I’ll give you 3 days to do the features you say are not good enough. Let’s see the result. When I visit in 3 days, I want the horizontal scroll feature that is fixed along the list without vertical scrolling, the drag and drop scrolling feature on mobile and pc, and the column expansion/collapse feature.

Your time has started. Let’s challenge.

Why are you asking in the forum for reasons behind the rejection if you can’t even process the feedback provided by the authors? Why are you even comparing yourself to @ki-themes for competition? Have you taken a look at his portfolio and work? @ki-themes has years of experience as a developer and has already established his expertise—there’s nothing left for him to prove, especially to you. If you believe your project is significant enough, then stop seeking opinions and go ahead and make it happen.

I expect you to prove your claim. That’s all.

He may have proven something against you, but he has nothing against me.

@baevox
I’m going to ignore his responses, you should do the same.
Not worth the time…

As the item is for sale elsewhere now and the author is an exclusive author, there’s no intention to resubmit it here.
