Seems like a pretty common sense feature they should allow authors, yet all I see is a “delete” button. There’s so many tags and descriptions and reviewer messages that have been lost simply because I can’t make a basic edit to a submitted file.
Because if it was allowed, people would submit unfinished items or items without tags, descriptions, etc. just to get in the queue and save some time which would lead to chaos and longer queues.
That doesn’t follow. Description and tags take a minute at most, and if people edited that info mid-submission, it wouldn’t have any effect because it would just be added to what is already in the process of getting approval.
