What happened to sales?! ( Sales Drop? )

Ouch! Oh that’s painful to see! :expressionless:

I was joking… :grinning:

I reckon it’s down to the repercussions of the attack on payment providers like PayPal and maybe some credit cards. Envato may not be reporting any issues, but payment gateways could be experiencing otherwise.

I still think a formal announcement regarding sale analytics, status analytics, etc would be a nice thing to get. I mean … seriously. I’m going crazy with marketing and analytics and sales reports trying to figure what the heck happened and everything looks okay, but sales are dead. Then I see more authors in the same situation. And no info by leadership… :expressionless:

I think maybe let’s give it a few more days to see what happens before panicking. Hopefully this is just a minor hiccup.

Fair enough. Friday combined with the DDOS was a recipe for disaster. :’(

Something is definetely off. Sales have been pretty much non-existent for me ever since the 15th, actually. Haven’t been this bad since my first months here in 2012 when I only had a couple of items to sell. I usually make 30-45 sales a month, now just 1 ever since the 15th…

The sales are normal for me, maybe because I didn’t sell as much as James and my items are not in popular genres. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve noticed sales drop as well…Let’s wait and see.

I can understand that, but I was talking strictly after the DDOS

No sales drop here. Similar sales as previous weekends (my sales in a weekend are substantially lower then on a work week day)

I’ve had a terrible September (50% drop in sales starting September 6th across multiple products), sales have however restored again in October.

Same here, then they came back, then they died again suddenly :expressionless:

a little went down , but today the day started good and standard sales and advanced sales )

I’m still waiting to see it happen. Because I find it absurd to go from 15-20 sales a day directly 1-2. No changes, no server erros, no downtime, and no “you know what” that can affect this. So I’m spooked! :expressionless:

Hm, very interesting thing… Really, i have no any sales from last friday! And I did not know that there was an attack. I hope this situation will fix soon.

Pretty normal for me. That’s Friday on the left, big drop over the weekend (that’s normal for me) and then heading back to normal on Monday. I always find sales get better through the week though, usually peaking around Wednesday/Thursday for me.

Yep. Those are top days. Still, your sales peak drop is immense.

after weekends … I think it’s due to some holidays or preparing for them ) in some countries ))))

No new products released over the weekend that compete with yours @Enabled?

No mate. And I released about 8 during the last 2 months myself. So my products are fresh in. Marketing, newsletter, blog, social media. Traffic is all good. October was amazing in sales, then it just died. And apparently I’m not alone in this statement :expressionless: :expressionless: :expressionless: :expressionless: :expressionless:
