What about these parts -
Intel i7 6700k 4Ghz processor
Asus Z170-A Motherboard
EVGA GTX 1070 Graphics card
8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX
750W EVGA SuperNOVA Power supply
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD
Fractal Design Define S
Cooler Master Hyper 612 CPU Cooler
1TB WD Black harddrive

Yes this parts also great.

What are you think about the Ryzen 1700 guys?

Ya GTMotion…It is well budget PC then…Can you suggest part list for Ryzen 1700?

I would suggest
Processor- Ryzen 1700x or 1800x
Motherboard-Msi x370 (I like their mother board)
ram- ripjaws ddr4 3200mhz
SSD- I strongly support m.2 but you can go for Kingston uv or earlier versions ( after effects will be fast if you install ssd)
graphics card - gtx 1060 or later versions
Fractal design S case or NZXT 440
nzxt kraken-x42 cooler

I’d go for 16GB of RAM… 8GB is pretty low. The rest of your specs look pretty good. If money is an issue, you could downgrade your graphics card so you can upgrade your RAM. 6GB is overkill slightly, unless you’re going to be making Element 3D templates or using a lot of GPU accelerated effects.

I had amd processor in my PCs before, never ever again. Especially if you gonna use that PC for work. Only Intel.

I also intend to buy a new computer and think Ryzen very well. Please share your experiences with AMD.

Thanks Motionmax for suggesting AMD based PC build.

ya sure…I might go for 3GB Graphics card instead…Bump up Memory to 16GB…thanks :grinning:SpaceStockFootage[quote=“SpaceStockFootage, post:8, topic:104425, full:true”]

yes its when compared to per core frequency when we are working yeah intel has leader till now but from ryzen the game has changed more cores more frequency lower tdp and what 8 core 16 threads which is best for working in after effects and memory sharing.

I have amd fx 8300 e system version right now compared to its 8 core system intel is winner
I dont have ryzen system yet but my friend had it and I have tested it with intel 6700k processor . ryzen is very fast

Iam hearing lots of complaining heat issues even in idle with 7700k processor
But I prefer nvidia over amd graphics even amd release faster graphics card because it supports all the of other softwares like octane which amd did not

There is no sense to buy expensive graphic card gtx1060 for videohive projects. Best way is buy cheaper card. Saving is better spent for super fast M.2 ssd disc.

why not its always better to purchase best gpu when we are purchasing hardware to build pc with in our budget. it will be best for element 3d and if he wants to learn some cinema 4d or simulation stuff its a good card to survive.

Hi, I want to say some opinions about Ryzen, because lately I’ve purchased one and it’s a huge performance increase from my previous CPU which was FX 8350. I have Ryzen 1700 and it is the best choice for price/performance value, with good motherboard you can even do overclocking and try to chase even 1800x. Before I bought it I also checked detailed info about benchmarks and I can say it is superior CPU for work with video editing, less good in games but you still have a very good performance in games of course, much better than FX line which was a huge disapointment for AMD in my opinion. Similar Intel processors are much more expensive so you really need to consider Ryzen, it has a really nice performance in After Effects since it is 16 threaded CPU.

Rest of my Specs:

GTX 1060 6GB

16 GB RAM DDR4 G-Skill

Gigabyte AB 350 Motherboard

PSU: FSP 750 W

I think you should be fine with these specs for your money, maybe you can even save some $

6th/7th generation processor, 16gb ram, Solid States DRIVE (SSD), make sure to take a z170 or higher motherboard. Corsair RMX power supply, well ventilated case.
