Actually, I have a Desktop PC setup that cost me around $1500
- Processor Intel i7
- 16GB RAM
- 1TB Hard Drive
- Nvidia 2000 Graphic Card
- 21’ Viewsonic Monitor
For me, it’s just enough. Obviously you can get better things, like a fancy iMac, but if you are just starting, like me, you need to get the best setup you can with your actual budget. My recomendation, a PC with all of that money invested in precessor, RAM and a good graphic card.
Maybe later on you can grab a cool iMac with a lot of performance and really know the beatiful side of the technology :bigsmile:
I use Asus G73sw for all of my post work. check out at asus site. 
Buy Asus or DELL with i7. And don’t forget to buy SSD for your OS.
