Hi. I have a project rejected (…“unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again”…) … I really want to understand why… !!! All is functional and tested. I have a lot of itens all ***** 5 stars. I’m vary sad with this :(. I think it’s totally unfair we don’t have a clear response about the problem with the project. just a pre writed global text. :frowning:
very very frustrating. :frowning: What reason did you not accept this project? The question here is why weak projects are accepted ???

I like the video, but not really the template :slight_smile:

I mean, what is the work here? Mirroring everything horizontally? A template on videohive is expected to save the customer many hours of work.

If the footage is included, I can see the value in it, but I guess it is not.

Hi thanks for your feedback. :slight_smile: but I have seen zillions of STOMP…Clap style openers that do not have footage included and do basically the same. I think that project is valid as a concept and can be useful to someone as well promote the music track and all the other footage that is exclusive from Envato. All the footage can be downloaded from Envato Market.

You are free to disagree, sure. But you asked for the reason for rejection and I gave you one.

Buyers can buy one of the zillions other templates already on the market, so they are taken care of I guess.

It’s literally just text appearing and disappearing :smiley: No text animations, no cool transitions, no graphics, no advanced effects (besides the sooo basic mirror one). Those are all the reasons for rejections. There’s plenty of better templates on the market already. Yes, even those stomps have animating text, it’s not just appearing and disappearing with rough cuts and 0 movement.

To get approved you first need to meet the technical/complexity and execution level of the projects already approved on the market, and then you need to bring something a bit different to the market. Something that hasn’t been done before in the exact same way in other authors templates.

You failed to do both, so you got rejected. Yes, it sucks, but you need to work on your execution skills and then on bringing something new to the table.

I give you my real story. About 6 years ago. I was thinking like you, my project has perfect (in my opinion) and my project has been rejected and I ask why my item got rejected, my item very cool. Really, I still save that project until now. That time, I have other work so I don’t continue making template, but I still learning and observing whats makes others authors accepted. Until a few month ago, when corona virus is coming, I have more time to try again with my new skill and experiences, I try again to make template. And now its works. I hope you can take lesson from my real story. You just need to upgrade your skill. When I see today, I want to laugh so much. So the point is, your perspective today is the other step on your videohive carreer.

Yes the overall montage looks like a cool simple movie opener (sometimes the simplest of things are the best). But it’s too simple for this market unfortunately :smiley: and this rule doesn’t work here (the simpler the better) cause the point of these projects is too help clients who want them, but have no time or skills to create them themselves.

So simply producing the simplest movie titles opener like you did, even thought it looks cool, it still doesn’t save client “enough time”, and doesn’t bring any unique skill set to the table for them to see this project as a worth while to buy instead of attempting to recreate the same thing themselves in a day or two. And Envato obviously takes this into consideration before approving any project.
