Hi dear community,
my first approach to audiojungle was rejected with no further comment than “does not meet the general
quality standard”. I really want to get better and improve my composing/mixing skills. Can some of you
more experienced composers give me feedback on what I can do better?
Is it the composition, arrangement or mixing/mastering?

I think the arrangement and mixing are very poor.
Staccato strings sounds fake and too repetitive. Arpeggio guitar starts @1:10 is also unnatural. The whole song mix is messy.

I think that the bass is very boomy and soft, junglepeople like it more clear and steady

Track is good, you should keep working the same way
but I think that the arrangement is a little bit poor and not so interesting matching nowdays standarts.
Try to listen top tracks here on AJ, especially in your favorite styles. Try to achieve that quality and sound.

Hey @JosGCS , stop spreading your hatred to the envato stuff because your track was rejected, it happens to all of us a lot of my tracks were rejected in the past but is not a reason to be so frustrated, just listen to best composers on the market and try to overcome what they are creating. Good luck
