This is why we need ID verification and why is audiojungle overwhelmed with new songs.

Because of their observable behavior. All cases of bans and deleting tracks we know were made from reports of volunteers authors. Stubborn and repeated. Not Envato itself.

If they obviously hadn’t got such team in the past why they need to have it in the present when it takes much more efforts to control the growing amounts of materials.

Why not?

Wait, are you trying to say that I can have 2 exclusive ( non-exclusive ) accounts or more??

Are you sure you are a moderator?

If you can find me where it’s stated that you can’t then obvioulsy I’m wrong… but I’ve not found any rule forbidding it yet!

Here: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000471226-Exclusivity-Policy
they say

If you would like to make some of your items available on an exclusive basis, and others available on a non-exclusive basis, then you can create two accounts - one exclusive account and one non-exclusive account.

If we read quickly, we can just remember “one exc , one non exc”, but they did not state this.
They just say you can open one of each kind.
But never say you cannot open more of a given kind…

Then, I understand why we see so many sibbling non exc profiles… that are able to upload like mad

By those rules.
Doesn´t say you can´t, but neither say that you can open more than two accounts.

As I know, there are no restrictions on the number of accounts. In the rules it is written as an example (for example 1 exclusive account and 1 non-exclusive). I understand so.

I think that by the fact that it doesn’t explicitly say you can’t have multiple accounts in the rules, and the fact that there are many authors doing it without being shut down, this indicates that it is acceptable to Envato.

Why you would want multiple accounts baffles me, though. With two accounts it would take twice as long to get through the author fee schedule, so you’d earn less money this way. In fact, Envato earns more for longer this way; now there’s a conspiracy theory

So…
I remember that poor Indonesian user with 26 accounts, Envato banned all of them.
Maybe we should start to apologize.

Poor dude… haha! But I’m pretty sure he was uploading clone tracks, which is a different matter altogether and definitely not acceptable!

Clone tracks¿? That is still happening…

Listen to this track;

Sounds like your typical corporate motivational track right? But it’s actually two tracks from two different profiles which I have overlaid together. This is obviously the same person. Both tracks were accepted on the same day in the same category.

I won’t name the author here, but if he sees this then it would be nice if he did the right thing and deleted one of them. I haven’t dug through all of their portfolio(s) but I see that there are a lot of very similar tracks on both accounts. These should not be allowed to slip through the net.

It’s sad, frustrated and depressed.
I hope you reported it.
But now i´m curious to know.
As i said before, i found some months ago, THREE accounts doing the same.

Not really sure where I’m supposed to report it. As a help request under “Copyright & Trademarks”?

Envato Terms and policies is what i use.

Close to two hundreds accounts that poor guy (likely a team) did have :scream:.

I guess that if you have no ethics and produces tons of nearly identical tracks, this is a way to jump over the “5 tracks in the queue” limit. I personnally don’t produce fast enough, so this 5 tracks limit is ok for me…
But if your produce clones like mad…

in fact, if you approach this from the point of view of doing business, then here as in the war - all means are good. Take for example one track of two different authors.

GORILLA SOUND - BRO :+1:

SkyIceberg - NO BRO :-1:

Gorilla Sound without featured items made sales much more than SkyIceberg. Which completely copied his work and at the same time the level of his sales did not approach the level of the author, which falls into the section futured items.
In order not to produce even greater competition in the market it is necessary to create complex unique music with which authors who write the same cinematics with plastic lifeless sound can not compete. It is necessary to create such works, which will be very difficult to copy. Do not look at what offers Audiojungle. A huge number of identical tracks which each day becomes more and more, spam of internal search in which many authors find it very difficult to take their place.Go on your own line, be unique and do not look at bestsellers.

This is either a case of extreme copying, OR another case of an author having multiple accounts with very similar tracks on each. Here is another example from these two portfolios. A lot of the same sounds and effects are used by these two authors. Something smells…

Wtf… what is going on here?
This author had a featured item, but it’s obvious that he’s breaking the rules. I am getting the feeling that it is the only way for an author to have a success on this platform. I don’t like this at all, this is unacceptable. He does not deserve to have an featured item. He deserves something worse.

Well done guys for the catch, nice fish.
