Theme hard rejected -- need help

Dear members,

my theme has been hard rejected with the following notice:
“After completing our review, we’ve determined that ‘XXXXX’ isn’t at the quality standard needed to continue forward with the review process on ThemeForest. As the submission is too far off the standards we require, you’ll be unable to re-submit on this occasion.”

Could you plese help me in finding improvement and clues to make this theme much better?

Well, I got a couple of suggestions for you ;

  • Your are using way too many css files, which might slow down the site, and reduce the google page speed test.
  • Please change your font. :wink:
  • I hope you provide the ability to change the color systems cause the default colors are a little bit too dark.

Those are just basics. May you please provide a link to your source code so that we can check out if the main problem is there. I mean, you might be using the wrong files and wrong language constructs in your code.

You might also want to make sure that your theme meets the WordPress theme review requirements. The theme check plugin helps you do that.

Hey!

I spotted some problems:

  • typography
  • slider is WAY TOO SIMPLE
  • navigation bar needs to be improved a bit
  • there are problems about spacing (took About body as example. You have to work a bit more on it)
  • colors and contrast (how about new colors? Let me help you: HERE)
  • heading aren’t really responsive… check for that
  • you have tried to add a image header to some pages… Well, for some the image is very big and disturbing. Also, a text on them won’t be bad.
  • try to merge some css files. Some of them should be merged.
  • create a more intuitive and simple coding of your theme. HTML document looks a bit wierdo for me and I lose my atention in your document. Try to add more spacing, a [TAB] for every new tag in another

Hope you will solve something. Anyway, it has a nice idea at the base. Good luck!

I sale many times in here and also waiting after soft reject in wordpress right now - and just see what is good and what is not.

It’s impossible to tell You what is wrong except - everything. Typography, graphics, blue links, colors choose …
