I made an After Effects version of my already approved Premiere Pro template, and I mentioned to the reviewer this is an After Effects version of a previously approved template
but it got rejected!, did this happen to anyone?
Thank you for your help, but I had none of those issues for my template
Besides, I got a common reject note without mentioning anything about the PR version …
Perhaps the market on AE category of your item was too saturated and they didn’t feel like your item would do well there? This happened to me, AE template was rejected cause of too much saturation in the category, but it’s doing just fine in PR category
maybe. did you get any mention of saturation (or something like that) in your rejection note?, cause mine was “The item does not meet our minimum design, animation, and technical requirements …”
it seems PR version meets the minimum …
@WedsMan1 Yep they said:
"We receive a lot of Instagram Story themed projects, therefore we’re very strict when reviewing these kinds of items.
Because there is so much competition and saturation in the Instagram Stories category, we only accept projects that we feel provide exceptional quality in both design and execution.
Unfortunately, this project does not meet our high standards for this variety of template."
Thanks for sharing . unfortunately I got a message exactly like my previous rejections, maybe my note had not been read. this is sad. I was ok if I got something like yours
Great news!
Since I doubted if my note to reviewer has been read or not, I contacted with the great support, and this is the answer I got
“Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You’re correct, your item was rejected in error. Under normal circumstances, the projects should have been rejected based on overall quality, however, since it was indeed previously approved under a different format, this Premiere version should have been accepted under that qualifier.
The review team does its best to be as consistently as possible, but while reviewing hundreds of files each and every week, there are bound to be the occasional mistake.
Please accept our apology for the inconvenience.”
It’s now approved!
@WedsMan1 yay, congrats!
