  2. We want you to create helpful “How to...” videos for buyers based on any of the ideas shared, and/or any ideas you have yourself.

Wow nice…
But alas i’m in a vacation… I can’t make any video… But mates keep going on! Good luck to all.

Nice  let’s see the ideas!

It will be great…When a buyer purchase an item (eg. Business card) After his purchase a helpful video of “How edit business cards” will be sent to his email or well be displayed in the graphicriver market page.

Same as themes and photos and logos or other designs.

Sounds good to me! One little problem though:
"Download song -> put song into software library -> choose where you want it to pop up-> done"
Doesn’t seem AJ authors have a fair chance.

But anyway AJ vidoes are going to have the best audio, graphic river videos will have the best graphics, themeforest videos will have the best presentation, videohive videos will have the best…videos…

Useful Contest! I’m in! Good luck to authors.

very useful thing for buyers, i was planning on doing this one day …
here is an idea : creating a video for Videohive buyers on how to embed(sync) Audiojungle music into the appropriate place, especially when there are sound effects mixed with the background music (multiple tracks).

Making a video about how to use the new Music Kits properly would be helpful I guess :sunglasses:

idea : after theme purchase , show video suggestion that “how to get most out of theme by following theme’s documentation !”

synchronize download with dropbox or other online cloud storage .

after purchasing item : show inspiration guide of users who successfully used items for big projects .

We have been using videos for quite a while now:

  • to explain to our customers how things work
  • how to set up our themes
  • what they can do to really get the most out of the theme
  • where to find additional plugins, freebies and help in case they need them
  • how to implement popular external services such as mailchimp etc.

The feedback has been great, so we will produce more in the future.

I think the most important things are:

  • Where to find my purchase code
  • Where to download an updated item
  • An example purchase flow
  • Going through each payment option
  • How to contact the author / where to find contact / support informations about the author / item

I think these one are the most important ones, because these one could be quite confusing some times

Idea: When buyers purchase a navigation bar from graphicriver, a video for how to use the PSD file for their website. How can they install the navigation bar on their website once purchased. How to edit the PSD file. How to customize it appropriately for their website.

it’s good idea…
making a tutorial “How to change picture with smart object”, so, if there’s a buyer purchase an item (eg. Resume/CV) After his purchase a helpful video of “How to change picture with smart object” will be displayed in the graphicriver market page.

Cool Competition - i am in

My Ideas:

  • How to use after effects template
(many user are contact me ask if this template are working on photoshop or premier so a short video can explain how to get after effects, installed, than open the first template)

  • How to render a final output from after effects
(Explain the best settings to render using the Adobe Media Encoder, also how to reduce the file size of the final output to be use on website)
