We often assume that sale reversals on CodeCanyon are accidental, but from what I see, that’s not the case. There has been a significant increase in sale reversals, suggesting that people are deliberately exploiting the system to get items for free. Simply blocking their CodeCanyon accounts isn’t an effective solution. The only real safeguard is enforcing 3D authentication for card transactions to prevent these reversals. The issue is escalating, yet no one seems to be addressing it.

There’re few people probably using “stolen” credit cards found at “dark web” by purchasing the items, right after the purchase, always new accounts, they are getting blocked and charge-back but by the time, they download the item already and put it W-A-R-E-Z websites in minutes.
The 3D authentication has been suggested already but Envato is not taking any part of finding a better solution, at least paying the authors for the lose from their cut… but we don’t live in an utopia so there’s nothing you can do.
