We are also experiencing sale reversals. We’ve noticed that when we upload any new item, a sale reversal occurs. For some items, the sale reversal happens after 5 or more days. It happens frequently.
How can we prevent this?

Unfortunately, many scammers abusing Envato payment system. There is solution but requires a lot of work and agreement with payment providers. Perhaps this will be resolved by Shutterstock.
They purchase with a fake payment method and then resell our items on other platforms. I think Envato should take action against them.
Correct. If Envato takes action against these fraudulent activities, it will be possible to address this issue effectively.

Check this website.
It appears that this is a website that is selling illegal software. I have seen my products sold here when they buy them and reverse them. What can we do ?
You can only submit DMCA takedown request on that platform and contact their host. That’s the only legal way to fight IP violations.
Please don’t share links for such sites here, that directs forum users there giving that site free traffic and opportunity for more downloads.
ok. Thank you
It’s a general problem that most products are bought, then there’s a sale reversal, and they are uploaded on other marketplaces.
Hello,
Can you please help us understand how to file a DMCA complaint and guide us through the entire process so that we can take action against them?
Usually there’s a link on every site where you can submit DMCA takedown notice, but if there is no link, there are many DMCA takedown request samples online. Make screenshots of copyright violations also, and then submit to service provider responsible for that site.
Hello,
Could you please share those links so we can take appropriate action?
DMCA takedown notice is submitted where that site is hosted, to their hosting provider. You may also need to consult your lawyer to be able to protect yourself properly from other side claiming they own copyright. There are no links I can share for that unfortunately.
@thefuturelens When a DMCA report is filed on a domain, 6 points are followed by the hosting provider. They are:
Specification of Copyrighted Content. Identification of the work which is claimed to be copyrighted and infringed, or, if the multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by the notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
Location of Infringing Material. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Namecheap to locate the material. This must include the specific URLs for each infringing instance.
Contact Information for the Complaining Party. Information is reasonably sufficient to permit Namecheap to contact the complaining party, such as a full personal name, address, and telephone number, as well as a facsimile number and email, if available, at which the complaining party may be contacted.
Good Faith Statement. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
Statement Under Perjury. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly being infringed.
Signature. A physical or electronic signature of the complaining party or its agent
So, when you make a DMCA report, you can 100% remove your product from the particular website by following these steps and making a DMCA report.
Note:
Don’t forget to send them the resources you have along with this.
