I have sold the Impreza-Theme, which I bought at Themeforest an do not need anymore.
The buyer told me now, that he needs my account-details (Login) to activate the Theme. Is that correct?
I had send him the files and the activation code… In my opinion that should be enough…

actually those are not enough because in this way they(your buyer) will not get access for future update and will not get author support.
Always should to purchase item from the user (website owner) own account.
Also transferring or selling items ‘as is’ would not be allowed, but as @mgscoder said - updates/support etc. will only ever be accessible via the purchasing account
