Makes you wonder how low will marketplace sink in few years since Envato hasnt come with right way to compensate authors ongoing work on maintaining code, plus now huge drop in sales (mostly because of reduction of advertising and attracting new buyers), many authors have and will abandon their plugins and themes more than ever, so marketplace will be full of useless files. Great job Envato!

No, that is not it. Remember, CEOs are focused on making money. I believe it is total incompetence; they literally forgot and donāt understand what Envato is all about.
They never cared about authors this is a business, but they should care about their business this is what I donāt understandā¦

Now Shutterstock owns Envato and maybe their goal was to get rid of competition at the first place and train their AI services. Either way my guess is that Envato as company doesnt have free choices anymore and depend on Shutterstock command.

Since Elements was founded, thousands of Authors have earned more than $117m USD.
I donāt have the exact numbers but assuming Elements has more subscribers by now, I donāt think it was a bad investment.

While sale was stopped. And customer licenses that are expired come back to asking something. Should I ask them to renew the support time? 
. If yes, I have just received 1 star review due to bad support service. Should I ask Envato to help remove the bad review at this moment? Can anyone tell me is the rating still important for us?

Ya. So what should I do. I asked because I dont know how to continue in this situation. I used to try all of my best to satisfy all of buyer kinds. But sales never get better. Today, marketplace is almost to die. So what should we do?

Let me share my recent experiences. Two or three years ago, I missed the golden era of the marketplace - I only had 3 items and didnāt add more quickly. I also missed the golden era of Elements for the same reason: my portfolio growth was really slow. In fact, sometimes it takes me up to two months just to reach the $50 minimum
At the beginning of this year, I started rebuilding my portfolio. Since then, Iāve uploaded 17 items to the marketplace - and the sales have started to grow. Itās not skyrocketing, but at least now it doesnāt take me two months just to reach $50 anymore
I know numbers can be relative for everyone, but for me, this is a sign of growth (At least for me)
