I need help on this i had a embarrassing movement in my sales how we can avoid Sale Reversal they are purchasing the product and make disputes.
Sale reversal is usually related to the payment. Some of the buyers are contacting their bank after downloading the item and requesting a chargeback, this is the most of the cases
In addition, there’s not much things you can do but to avoid these, you can add a small script into your code that it needs to be activated/entered the purchase code to be able to use.
sale reversal really Bad Luck! Actually it has done because of unauthorized purchase (Envato has not received the money for the item). A sales reversal occurs when a purchase is reversed by the payment provider (eg. payment gateway or bank) through either a credit card or Paypal account. Reversals are enforced by the payment provider and actioned in accordance with their policies.
What happens when a Sales Reversal occurs
When a reversal occurs, Envato will:
- Immediately disable the Envato account from which the purchase was made;
- Remove the item from the customer’s Downloads page;
- Invalidate the purchase code for the item.
When a reversal occurs, Envato will:
- Invalidate the purchase code for the item.
So, the envato api will return 404 error.
- 404 means the purchase code was invalid, not real, or was not from one of your customers.
