Agree.
It’s very hard to earn money at themeforest.
You have to:
- invest 10k+ money on design and code.
- invest 6+ months of time
- set concurrent price (lower)
- support each 20usd sale for six months
- provide awesome support to get good reviews
- provide customization and installation service for free (as many customers ignore message on support tab and said something like “other author do such customization for free”)
Your theme should be in top5 in your category to return investments.
I hope to stay in top at my Shopify category, in other case theme for themeforest is not my business.
